Dydrogesterone Drug Information Menstruation is a natural part of women’s reproductive cycle. Dydrogesterone works to regulate this menstrual cycle in women, whose progesterone levels are low and helps to maintain the required level for good health and fertility. How to take Dydrogesterone This medication should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor depending on the medical condition, age, sex and other factors involved, of the patient. This medicine is generally taken on selected days during the menstrual cycle which again depends on the disorder that is being treated. Dosage varies depending on the medical condition the patient is being treated for and in some cases it has to be taken for few cycles. For irregular cycles due to progesterone deficiency doctor may recommend 5 to 10mg. This medicine should be taken under medical supervision and for the medical conditions it is prescribed for.
